Hotel Reservation Procedures

www.cnvacation.com provides On-line hotel reservation, Off-line payment methods for our customers.

4) We contact the hotel you choose to check room and price availability, then we send you an Invoice by email within 2 working days after receiving your hotel reservation order.
5) The payment is required to be sent to our account by Bank Transfer. Please fax the Wire Transfer copy or Bank-In Slip to our Fax No. (852) 2332 9963.
6) We will send you our Confirmation Voucher and Official Receipt by email or by Airmail after receiving your full payment.

Hotel Rates and Availability
Great Earth Travel Ltd reserves the right to change prices and availability without prior notice.
Unavailability of Hotel
The hotel may be fully reserved before we received your payment by Telegraphic Transfer, some hotels with similar standard and location will be suggested by email. We will refund to your account once you don't accept the change of hotel reservation.
Reservation Amendment
Please notify your reservation amendments by email.
1. If you notify your reservation amendments more than 10 days before your check-in date, we will not charge any administration fee. If the new hotel rate is higher, please Telegraphic Transfer the difference to our bank account. In case the new room rate is lower, we will refund the difference to your account.
2. If you notify your reservation amendments less than 10 days before your check-in date, we will charge one-room night per room booked as administration fee.
3. During the special period, such as Canton Fair, the hotel reservation could not been amended once we confirmed your hotel reservation.
Reservation Cancellation and Refund
Please send your hotel cancellation by email
1. For reservations cancelled more than 12 days before your check-in date, we will not charge any administration fee. The full accommodation will be refund to your account.
2. For reservations cancelled less than 12 days before your check-in date or no show, we will charge one-room night per room booked. The balance will be refund to your account.
3. During the special period, such as Canton Fair, there is no refund for no show, amendment or cancellation.

Responsibilities and Conditions

Great Earth Travel Ltd acts only in the capacity of a travel agent for purveyors of transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodation. All vouchers, receipts and tickets issued by Great Earth Travel Ltd are subject to terms and conditions stipulated by the suppliers. Great Earth Travel Ltd shall be exempt from any liability for loss or damage to property, injury of persons, accidents, delays, irregularities or other occurrences beyond its control. Nor shall Great Earth Travel Ltd be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay resulting directly or indirectly from delays, cancellations, or changes in flights, itineraries, schedules, or other means of transportations, strikes, theft, sickness, weather, quarantine or other causes. All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alterations or delays in air or surface transportation services in China. Any additional expenses incurred shall be charged to the participants.
Should you have any complaints during your trip in China, please inform your local guide or our local suppliers immediately after situation happens. Failure to do so may result in reduction or elimination of compensation that may be payable.

Terms and Conditions

Great Earth Travel Ltd reserves the right to change prices and availability without prior notice.
All tour members need a visa to enter China.
1. Tour Order should be placed by completing Tour Order Form and submitted to us at least 20 days before departure date of your trip.
2. Please provide your personal information, including passport name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, as well as tour start date, the number of persons, flight detail and your special requirements.
3. Upon receiving your information, we will confirm your tour within 2 working days.
4. Please make the payment to Great Earth Travel Ltd 15 over working days before your departure date.
5. If you wish to change your tour, you must inform Great Earth Travel Ltd at least 15 working days before your departure date. Any extra charge or loss incurred due to such change will be borne by you.

Cancellation and Refund

1) Passengers who cancel their reservations within 15 days prior to departure are subject to the following cancellation fees:
- 15-10 days prior to departure: 15% of tour fare
- 9-5 days prior to departure: 20% of tour fare
- 4-2 days prior to departure: 40% of tour fare
- 24 hours or no show : 50-100% of tour fare
2) If a change to the confirmed itinerary or service standard is caused by forces, such as weather, unforeseen circumstances, political upheavals, etc., neither party shall be held responsible, and any extra cost thus caused shall be covered by the tourist himself.
3) If a tourist has to leave his tour group because of accident, injury, or serious illness, a refund of 50% of the unused tour fare shall be made by us. No refund will be made available for a tour member who otherwise quit the tour group.
4) A claim for compensation must be made in written form by the sufferer himself within 30 days of the end of the tour.
5) Special cancellation term for the Yangtze River Cruise:
a. A non-refundable deposit of USD100 is due within 7 days of confirmation & not less than 31 days before cruise.
b. Full payment with all passenger details must be received 30 days pre departure per RCC form-of-payment policy or space may be cancelled.
c. Bookings with 31 days of departure must include full payment & passenger details. Refundable if can't confirm by the cruise company.
d. The following cancellation fees will be applied:
Confirmation to 35 days before departure: USD120 per person
34 days to 20 days before departure: 30% of cruise price
19 days to 10 days before departure: 60% of cruise price
9 days or less before departure: 100% of cruise price
All cancellations must be in writing and will be effective upon receipt by cnvacation.com. If owing to serious illness or injury, the participant withdraws from the tour, a refund will be subject to the consent of the local travel agent.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend the purchase of a travel protection plan from Travel Insurance Services at your country. This form of coverage will protect you against unexpected events that could cause you to cancel or interrupt your vacation. Also, this affordable and comprehensive travel protection program provides coverage for unexpected delays, medical assistance, baggage and baggage delay, evacuation, and most importantly pre-existing conditions.
