Xinle Remains is located north of town, just west of Beiling Park. This site harbors massive historical significance for the entire nation of China. Relics dating back to the Neolithic Age 7,200 years ago have been uncovered here.
And even today, anthropologists continue to cull history from its soil. Stone artifacts, earthenware, stunning woodcarvings, and an ancient house have been unearthed from within its borders. Even Shenyang's city symbol, the Sun Bird Sculpture, was discovered from this ancient tribal site.
