Splendid China is a miniature scenery park which reflects the history, culture, art, ancient architecture as well as the customs and habits of various nationalities in China. Splendid China is one of the world's largest scenery parks in the amount of sceneries reproduced. Spreading over 315,000 square meters of Iand, it is divided into a Scenic Spot Area and a Comprehensive Service Area.
About a hundred scenic wonders arranged in accordance with the real location of China's scenic spots are the epitome of China's long-standing history, brilliant culture as well as beautiful scenery and rich historical sites. Splendid China condenses the highlights of the whole of the PRC into 30 hectares. Over 100 major tourist attractions have been miniaturized and the theme park is laid out according to the map of China. Most attractions have been reduced on a scale of 1 to 15. There are cars and trains to transport visitors around the park, making it possible to visit the Great Wall, Three Gorges, Potala Palace and the Terracotta Warriors in one day.
