Located under the west of original tiger beach park, Polar Aquarium is a massive building along the sea. The aquarium was opened in 2002. It is the largest polar aquarium in the world at present. The aquarium has 11 species of 153 polar animals and it also boasts 3,000 fish. Standing in a 360° channel you can be surrounded by the multitude of fish.
Polar Aquarium can be divided three parts: the display of polar animals、the performance of ocean animals、the show of shark. We can view and admire many kinds of animals both from the south polar and the north polar regions, including polar bears, penguins, polar belugas and sea elephants.
