Situated in the southeastern part of Nanning city, Nanhu Park brings together aquatic scenery and a subtropical landscape. It covers an area of 126.6 hectares, of which three-fourths is occupied by the lake.
Chinese fan palms, pinang trees and other tropical greenery are planted within the park, giving a delightful southern flavor. In addition, more than thirty kinds of tropical fruit trees can be found in the park, including lychee, jackfruit, pomelo and mango.
The seven-hole bridge arches across the lake like a huge dragon floating above the water. The blue sky and white clouds are reflected in the sparkling waters, and visitors enjoy themselves with a relaxing paddleboat ride across the lake or simply fishing with hook and line.
