Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF) has been held ever since twice a year, Spring (in April) and Autumn (in October), in Guangzhou since 1957. In 1974, it became a faire site. The unique and large-scale fairs enjoy a high reputation in the world.
Housed in a complex with a floor space of 160,000 sq.metres for exhibition of products, the Trade Fair lasts 15 days for each session. Consisting of 45 Trading Delegations and attended by thousands of exhibitors, who are China's best foreign trade or foreign economic corporations (enterprises) of good credibility and sound financial capabilities, the Trade Fair shows in a concentrated manner to the Fair visitors more than 100,000 varieties of commodities. Business negotiations are conducted against the samples on display. Each session of the Trade Fairs attended by well over 50,000 business people from 160-odd-countries and regions. The export turnover of each session exceeds USS 10 billion and more.
