Chengtiansi Pagoda (the Western Pagoda) is located in the Chengtian Temple in Yinchuan City. It was originally built in 1050 when the Western Xia Dynasty (1032-1227) was at the height of its ower and splendour and is the highest brick pagoda among more than one hundred ancient pagodas in Ningxia.

Chengtiansi Pagoda is an octagonal structure and 64.5 metres high with 11 wooden floors. The small iron bells hanging on the corners of the Pagoda ring in the soft winds. The sweet bells will inspire your imagination. Through a wooden stairway, people can access to the top of the Pagoda, where looking out of the window, they can perceive a fine view of the ancient city of Yinchuan.

Ningxia Museum is in the Monastery. It exhibits many pieces of historical relics of Ningxia, cultural relics of Hui Nationality and also some unearthed relics of Beizhou Dynasty.
