Opened in 1980, Suzhou Hotel has two main towers, and is near the Jing-Hang Canal and the well-known Wang Shi Garden. The hotel is surrounded by velvet-like grass and lush trees. The hotel combines modern facilities and a classic garden style, and is only ten minutes by car from the railway station.

Occupying a space of over 6000 square meters, the hotel has altogether 308 rooms along with 16 restaurants and banquet halls that serve Chinese and Western dishes. Buffet dining and facilities for cocktail parties are also offered. The hotel features a ballroom, a billiards room, a chess room and fitness center.
