Beijing/Xian/Beijing Tour in June 2006

We did enjoy the Beijing Tour very much ... here is my feedback:

Did you have an enjoyable tour? Very much so.

Are you happy the hotel? The Howard Johnson Hotel rooms, though basic and clean, were a bit rundown and not really what I would rank as "4 star". In addition, service at the front desk was inconsistent.

What about food and tour guide? Is the tour guide friendly and helpful? The restaurant and food choices were excellent. Our tour guide, Ivy, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Would you recommend our services to your friends and relatives? Yes.

Beijing-Xian-Beijing tour, in September, 2005

The tour was very good, well planned and the guide and driver very knowledgeable and courteous.

I liked the Hotel in Bejing (Prime Hotel) better than the one in Xian... There was an issue at check in at ANA Grand... they had NO (NON SMOKING) rooms, which is what I reserved...
Later the manager upgraded my room which was cleaner and did not smell.
Prime hotel has a Great Buffet Breakfast...

Both were very good locations !!!!

The guides in both cities were very good. Drivers were very friendly and gave good service.
The cars were older though, but very clean. For the tour Price I paid I expected newer!

Overall the choices were good except one of the local restaurants in Beijing. For one of the included dinners I was taken to a place where locals ate... The quality of the food was very poor by American standards... I think dinner for the 3 of us was only 60RMB... again for what I paid for the tour the quality should have been much better !!!!
Most of the other choices were very good! The Kung Fu show in Beijing was also an excellent choice... !!!!!
I do not eat seafood or any meat on bones, both guides were very helpful in communicating this to where we ate... they did make sure that dietary needs were met.

I must say that the excellent communication and e mails and special attention to tailoring the tour to my schedule and needs... hotels and domestic flights was most appreciated!
There was another tour company I was looking at for a similar trip which was less expensive, But went with you because you were VERY GOOD at getting back to me and accommodating my special needs.
I was somewhat afraid wiring money so far to a company I did not know... If there is any way you can accept Visa or Master card this might make other potential tourists more comfortable!
In the US there are warnings to beware sending money to Businesses in China as there is no guarantee that the goods or services will be provided. If there is a way to make future customers feel safer about paying for tours it may help.

Beijing tour in August, 2005

The tour was very well organized and flexible where necessary. The information was detailed and our tour guide spoke excellent English. The highlight for me was The Great Wall. Close runner up was the Summer Palace and the Kung Fu show.

The hotel was excellent. Service and facilities were all very good and the location was very well placed.

Out tour guide and the drivers were excellent (particularly the first of our two drivers who was very careful to drive with consideration for us as back seat passengers). To make the tour better, it would have been useful to know that we could have gone to a part of the Great Wall where chair lifts are provided. My mother was not able to climb to the top so she missed out. We only found out afterwards that chair lifts are provided a few miles on. This information needs to be made available at the time of booking.

The food was excellent. The choice of restaurants were very good and it was nice to have the privacy of our own table at all times.

As mentioned above, an improvement could be made to ensure that the options for the Great Wall access are offered.

I would definitely recommend your services and in fact, already have recommended you to everyone I have spoken to about the tour.

Beijing Tour in June 2005

We enjoyed the tour very much. Every item on the itinerary was great. We stayed at the Jianguo Garden Hotel, which was very comfortable, but we had no time to use the hotel facilities. The tour guide (Lilly) was very nice and very informative. The food was generally satisfactory to good with the exception of the dinner at the hotel where we watched Peking Opera. Overall, your service is very good and I would certainly make bookings with you in the future.
